Do we use cookies?
Rarely. Unlike most websites, we deliberately avoid cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. We believe teachers shouldn't be tracked across the internet in exchange for using a free salary calculator.

This cookie is required for the calculators to function. You can block all cookies via your browser settings, but doing so may break calculator functionality.
What cookies we do NOT use
- Analytics cookies (we use Plausible, cookieless by design)
- Advertising or marketing cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Persistent cookies that remember you across visits
- Fingerprinting or any other tracking technology
Third-party cookies
Our website does not embed third-party content (videos, social buttons, ads) that might set their own cookies — the site is designed to be completely self-contained.
Managing cookies
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies. Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies. Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies. Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Blocking all cookies (including strictly necessary ones) will prevent our calculators from working correctly — you can still read our content pages.
Our cookie-free analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, designed to be cookieless and privacy-compliant by default. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data (no IP addresses, no user identifiers), and doesn't track you across websites. You cannot be identified from our analytics data, and no consent is required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time — the "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Because we set almost no cookies, significant changes are unlikely.
